A Girl Like Me

Trials (1 of 1)-6

Hey there!

My name is Upile Chisala, which is a not necessarily a mouthful but will probably leave the  “Come again?” expression on your face. I am a Malawian girl/lady/woman. This blog is an outlet, a place where I can express myself through my intimate poetry, my inner most thoughts and feelings. It is a platter for my heart. I have managed to create this equilibrium  where I can be both sides of myself, there is the gregarious version of myself who talks a hundred words a second, who thrives at every chance she gets to laugh and to dance and be merry. And there is the more personal side of me, the introverted half that loves to write and read and design, and listen to music that doesn’t want to make you want to dance but it manages to bring out the deepest emotions in you. This is what this blog is about. I hope you enjoy it, feel free to comment and ask anything por favor.

Upile, I stumbled upon your blog quite by accident…what a wonderful surprise! Your poetry is so deep yet simple. Have you ever been published? Are the photos taken by you as well? My favorite is Mary in the Rain. The photo is the perfect compliment to the poetry. Do you sell your photos?

    • upile says:

Awwww. 🙂 I haven’t published yet, that’s a dream of mine though. I take most of the photos, the previous photo on Mary In the Rain is a borrowed photo off the net. I haven’t sold any of my pictures yet.
      Thank you for your kindness.:-)
